I wasn’t planning on writing Op-ed style articles on this blog, but that Ramon Tulfo really grinds my gears! The recent “News Story” involving an altercation between an American embassy official and two young Filipinas originally drew my attention when Ramon Tulfo decided that it was absolutely necessary to fixate on the fact that the official was of Korean descent. You can read his articles for yourselves. Now, I’m not condoning the alleged behavior of Chang, the Americn embassy official who was involved int he incident, but I am most definitely condemning Mr. Tulfo’s style of reporting. My comments are in red below.

Nice one Sammy. I used to enjoy reading Tulfo until this recent episode. After his “Bam Bam Thank You Ma’am” (should have been “Wham Bam…”) article he lost all credibility in his reporting style. This is what I think of this recent episode, the Korean Embassy should demand an apology and a retraction from Tulfo. Keep up the good work!

And about Ramon Tulfo’s two article: I smell racism… I hate people who generalize! He should stop stepping on people without at least knowing whom he is stepping on.
